KMITL’S CEREMONY OF WAI KHRU AND THE SYMBOLIC KMITL’S TIES AND THE KING RAMA IV’S BROOCH ORNAMENTATION

KMITL’s Ceremony of Wai Khru and the symbolic KMITL’s Ties and the King Rama IV’s brooch ornamentation,

the annual ceremony in every Thai school in which students pay respects to their Khru or teachers by presenting them with flowers and performing Wai or bow in front of them.

Schedule of the Ceremony for the new students of the academic year of 2018

Monday, September 3, 2018, At the King Mongkut's Sports Center, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

3 PM.     – New Students readily assemble at the Faculty,

3.30 PM. – The assembling Students move to the King Mongkut's Sports Center,

4 PM.     – KMITL’s Executives are readily assembling at the King Mongkut's Sports Center,

4.30 PM - Students are ready at the King Mongkut's Stadium.

5 PM.     - General Surayud Chulanont, the Council President of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

                as the president of the ceremony arrive at the King Mongkut's Sports Center,

                - Assistant Professor Dr. Wattanachai Pongnak, the Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations 
                   addresses the report,

5.15 PM.   - General Surayud Chulanont, presides over the opening of the ceremony

5.20 PM. - The honorable parade of the respectful invitation of the symbolic King Mongkut 's Royal Highness Crown
                marches into the Ceremony Center.

              -  Wai Khru Ceremony; the students’ representatives invite the flower trays to pay respect or pedestal tray to pay obeisance to the teachers,

              - The ceremony of the presentation of the KMITL’s symbolic ties and brooch to the new students,

                    (the New students and all students unitedly sing the symbolic songs of the faculties and of KMITL’s,)

                   - Student's pledge ceremony

                   - The paying respect Presentation ceremony in front of the images of His Majesty King Rama IX and Rama X,

                   - General Surayud Chulanont addresses the Speech to the students.

                   - Watch the KMITL’s short film   “My Lovely Ladkrabang Zombie”

                   - the KMITL’s executives unitedly sing the KMITL’s symbolic song and 

                       the Thai Royal Anthem- Sansoen_Phra_Barami song for the Kings.

8 PM.   -  The end of the Ceremony.................................................................................................
